Bucket List

My Bucket List isn’t necessarily a list of a bunch of places I want to visit. My Bucket List is to visit every single one of them! You may have heard of most of them, not find anything interesting in others, chuckle at a few here and there, but these are all the places I want to visit before I die.

Note: Bucket List subject to grow by the day.

If you’ve been to any [or all?] of these places, or have some suggestions of places that should be added to the list, that’s what the comments are for.

Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)
There’s just something about watching a galactical painting of the sky.

Chichen Itza (Mexico)

Chichen Itza which means “at the mouth of the well of Itza “, is the 2nd most visited archeological site of Mexico today. The Kukulkan Pyramid in Chichen-Itza which known as “El Castillo” (the castle), is one of the new seven wonders of the world elected in 07.07.2007. It is exactly 24 m. high considering the upper platform. Apart from the Kukulkan Pyramid, in Chichen Itza there many other archaeological sites to visit, all carrying traces from Mayan Culture in many ways.

Colosseum (Rome)

Cristo Redentor (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Door to Hell (Derweze, Turkmenistan)
The Door to Hell is noted for its natural gas fire which has been burning continuously since it was lit by Soviet petrochemical scientists in 1971.

Easter Island

Galápagos Islands

Great Pyramids of Giza

Great Wall of China

Hagia Sophia (Istanbul, Turkey)

Harmandir Sahib (Amritsar, Punjab, India)

Khajuraho Group of Monuments (Madhya Pradesh, India)

Leaning Tower of Pisa
I keep hearing it’s not as spectacular as the postcards make it seem, but how can you not want to visit this universally known architectural f up?

Machu Picchu (Peru)

Niagara Falls

Petra (Jordan)

Potala Palace (Llasa, Tibet)

Samarkand, Uzbekistan
My fascination with Samarkand happened after reading about Timur, one of [if not THE] the world’s greatest conquerors.

Seoul Korea
More specifically, the family I never met and the hospital where I was born.

Singapore

Taj Mahal (Agra, India)
